What does service look like after the uniform comes off? In San Fernando, it looks like veterans pulling weeds alongside Cub Scouts, families clearing trash from a neighborhood park, and five organizations standing shoulder-to-shoulder to make their city a little better than they found it.


VFW Post 3834 Stands Tall at Santa Monica Pier Memorial Day Walk

SAN FERNANDO, CA - On Monday morning, May 25, 2026, members of All American VFW Post 3834 joined forces with local veterans, active-duty service members, and community advocates at the historic Santa Monica Pier for the annual Merging Vets and Players (MVP) Walk to Remember.
